Your mission will be to:
  • Providing sales, cross-sell, and up-sell recommendations to potential clients;
  • Reviewing and completing insurance needs analysis and providing insurance recommendations;
  • Assisting clients in enrolling for life, accident, and sickness insurance products;
  • Reviewing insurance enrollments and processes to ensure adequacy and accuracy;
  • Ensuring appropriate policy requirements are fulfilled and submitted;
  • Adhering to privacy, insurance, and other financial services regulations and procedures;
  • E&O insurance, licensing, continuing education, and CSF membership fees will be covered by Gexel;
  • Escalating issues, concerns, and trends to business management.
What you need:
  • Hold a Life, Accident & Sickness license in Canada (Mandatory);
  • Provide proof of having passed the "Ethics & Professional Practice (Common Law)" course;
  • Hold a License in Insurance of Persons in Québec (Asset);
  • Hold Licenses in other provinces (Asset);
  • Satisfy Continuing Education requirements;
  • Flexible working hours: from 10 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays;
  • Be perfectly bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken (to cater to our clientele in Canada);
  • Have experience in insurance needs analysis and providing suitable recommendations or solutions;
  • Be self-confident, friendly, high energy, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry (Asset);
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Understanding of Life, Health, and Sickness Insurance products as well as marketing trends;
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Internet, Email);
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with customers;
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities;
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality;
  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent business experience;
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Have the ability to connect directly to your modem and access to Internet connectivity, of course: minimum download and upload speeds of 60Mbps - the faster, the better!
